Job Title: Caretaker
Location: Trafford Borough and surrounding areas (reporting to CleanStart Warehouse, Stretford)
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full-time - 36.25 hours per week (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday)
Salary: 23,815 per annum (Real Living Wage)
Closing Date: 27th May 2025 at 11:00 PM

Be Doing:

Delivering cleaning and caretaking services to communal areas across estates
Removing bulky waste and ensuring communal spaces are safe and compliant
Conducting basic maintenance tasks using hand tools (minor repairs, decoration)
Following COSHH and health and safety procedures, using PPE and working safely at heights
Responding to resident queries and supporting a positive customer experience
Using mobile devices and work systems to manage tasks and maintain records
Working with housing and estate teams to ensure high service standards are maintained

What We're Looking For:

Experience in caretaking, facilities, or cleaning roles (training provided)
Basic knowledge of tools, materials, and grounds maintenance (desirable)
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently to tight deadlines
Familiarity with health and safety protocols, COSHH, and lone working practices
Confidence using mobile apps or basic IT systems
A full UK driving licence is desirable
