Performance Executive

Our client is a digital and media agency based in Central Manchester. They are looking for a Performance Executive to support the Performance team in the day-to-day running of digital activity for their clients across PPC, Paid Social, Display and Programmatic channels.
Alongside this focus within the performance team, you will also have cross functional exposure across broader teams within the agency, working fluidly across departments on tasks such as client reporting, pulling and presenting research and insight data, and attending wider media partner meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in setting up and monitoring campaigns across key digital platforms (e.g. Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Traffic Rich, Brand verity).
- Manage creative changes within Google Ads and Meta ads for clients, updating creative assets, tracking and ad copy.
- Conduct regular performance checks and make optimisation suggestions within performance marketing campaigns - such as conducting SQRs, reviewing CPC bids, reviewing creative performance.
- Demonstrate strong basic performance marketing channel understanding and proactively seek opportunities to upskill and develop.
- Stay up to date with platform changes and industry trends.
- Pull performance data and support the creation and management of regular client reports and internal dashboards.
- Deliver commentary when required, providing valuable insights and actions.
- Evaluate effectiveness, identify key learnings, and inform future strategy refinements.
- Act as a support into cross functional client reporting and planning.
Key requirements for the Performance Executive role:
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and highly organised with a strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with Excel/Google Sheets and basic data manipulation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- An interest in digital marketing, media, and advertising.
- A collaborative mindset - comfortable working across different teams and jumping in where needed.
- Exposure to advertising platforms such as Meta Ads, Google Ads, or Google Analytics.
- Experience with administrative or finance tasks (even in a non-marketing setting).
- An understanding of media terminology and metrics (CPM, CTR, CPC, ROAS, etc.).
