As part of our Cars Search Experience Team, you will be at the heart of the customer journey-modernizing the systems that handle search requests, power real-time filtering, and drive global conversions.
The Tech Stack
We are in a high-growth phase, evolving our search platform into a reliable, event-driven ecosystem.
- Backend: Node.js, TypeScript, Microservices.
- Frontend: React, TypeScript.
- Cloud: AWS native services (EventBridge, SQS, Lambdas).
- Architecture: Scalable, high-performance, event-driven systems.
What You'll Do
- Drive Evolution: Take ownership of microservices and contribute to the transition toward AWS-native, event-driven architectures.
- Build the Experience: Develop end-to-end features that help customers discover, compare, and book the perfect vehicle at the right time.
- Experiment & Innovate: Use a data-led approach to development, launching experiments to drive customer satisfaction and conversion.
- Ensure Reliability: Advocate for best practices, including robust unit and integration testing to ensure system performance and data integrity.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ Years of professional software development experience.
- Node.js & TypeScript Expertise: Strong proficiency in building and operating production-grade backend services.
- Frontend Fluency: Hands-on experience with modern React frameworks.
- Microservices Experience: A must-have understanding of distributed systems.
- Cloud Native: Familiarity with AWS (specifically SQS, Lambda, or EventBridge) is a significant plus.
- The Mindset: A pragmatic, detail-oriented engineer who is passionate about building products for a global user base.
