Planner required for a leading main contractor operating across the infrastructure sector. This is an excellent opportunity if you are an assistant looking to work up to planner level. You will work with and develop under the guidance of one of the North Wests leading Senior Planners. There is a very strong team ethic within the business meaning a well-motivated work force.
The Role
You will assist the planning team in compiling construction programmes, schedules and plans.
Provide on site planning expertise, updating and revising schedules accordingly
Provide progress reports on costs and time scales
Work collaboratively with other construction teams.
About You
You will have started your planning career and be looking further development.
Have strong work ethic with ability to question and challenge appropriately.
Have HNC/Degree or equivalent qualification in Construction / Construction Management/ Civil Engineering.
Be confident in working with planning software P6, Asta, MS project.
Have a CSCS card,
Ideally have previous site management/ section engineering experience.
