Class 1 Driver - Nights
Location: Newton Heath occasionally Cheadle Hulme
Shift times: Mainly to cover Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday but flexibility is required should the volumes need additional days working. Starting from 17:00, shift length is approx. 9-10 hours and should be no longer than 12 hours
Pay Rate: Monday to Saturday - 18.51 per hour (OT after 9 hours at 23.14 per hour)
Sunday - 20 per hour
Manpower is currently recruiting for Class 1 HGV drivers to work on behalf of one of our national drinks & logistics distribution clients.
Responsibilities:
- Deliveries to other depots (singles drops- occasional maximum 2 drops)
- No hand balling
- Reporting vehicle defects
- Ensuring vehicles have been loaded correctly
Minimum requirements:
- (C+E) licence / Digi tacho & CPC cards
- 2 years minimum C+E driving experience
- Maximum 6 points for minor offences (DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LD, TT99 codes not acceptable)
- Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
- Customer service skills required
