Freeway Recruitment are currently recruiting for Van delivery drivers.
Position - Van driver
Normal vehicle you will be driving can be anything from Sprinter to Luton type vehicles. This work also may include driving flatbed vehicles.
Pay 13.00 per hour PAYE
Min of 8 hours per shift paid
Overtime paid on most contracts at Time X1.5 after 8.5 hours per shift.
Working week - Monday to Friday
Normal start times - can range between 05:00 am and 07:00 am.
Duties - As a van delivery driver you will be carrying out day to day deliveries for our clients, this could be anywhere up to 20 deliveries per day with handball included and some of the product can be heavy. Normal products can include anything from Bathroom / Kitchen / Bedroom furniture , fixtures and fittings or even steel fabricated goods delivering to the clients customer base across the North of England including Newcastle , Wales and Cheshire . This is a Job and finish position.
Requirements for this role
A full and valid UK driving licence with a min of Cat B entitlement that has been held for a minimum of 2 years.
No more than 6 points
No DR , DD , IN , CD , MS , TT , TX endorsements on licence.
A full and valid right to work in the UK.
Experience of working with in a similar position before would be a good advantage although not essential.
Excellent communication and a good professional manner
