Randstad is seeking a skilled Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team in Manchester. This role involves servicing, maintaining, and repairing commercial gas systems.
- Position: Commercial Gas Engineer
- Shift: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (40 hours/week). Overtime available
- Salary:£39,000 - £43,000 per annum + OTE up to £50,000 + Standby pay
- Location: Manchester

- Service, maintain, and repair commercial gas and solid fuel heating systems.
- Complete occasional installations.
- Undertake preventative maintenance (PPM) activity.
- Participate in out-of-hours work, including overtime and call-outs.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Report work using a PDA.
- Report accidents, near misses, and potential hazards.
- Handle additional maintenance tasks.
- Be flexible in working with a wide range of customers.
- ACS qualifications (CCN1, HTR1, CKR1, CENWAT, COCN1, ICPN1, TPCP1A, CDGA1, CIGA1)
- Full UK driving license.
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
- additional qualifications (LPG, Unvented)
- Strong understanding of gas legislation and regulations, health & safety practices, and excellent time management skills.
