Randstad is seeking a skilled Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team in Manchester. This role involves servicing, maintaining, and repairing commercial gas systems.

  • Position: Commercial Gas Engineer
  • Shift: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (40 hours/week). Overtime available
  • Salary:£39,000 - £43,000 per annum + OTE up to £50,000 + Standby pay

Responsibilities
  • Service, maintain, and repair commercial gas and solid fuel heating systems.
  • Complete occasional installations.
  • Undertake preventative maintenance (PPM) activity.
  • Participate in out-of-hours work, including overtime and call-outs.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Report work using a PDA.
  • Report accidents, near misses, and potential hazards.
  • Handle additional maintenance tasks.
  • Be flexible in working with a wide range of customers.
Qualifications
  • ACS qualifications (CCN1, HTR1, CKR1, CENWAT, COCN1, ICPN1, TPCP1A, CDGA1, CIGA1)
  • Full UK driving license.
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
  • additional qualifications (LPG, Unvented)
  • Strong understanding of gas legislation and regulations, health & safety practices, and excellent time management skills.
