- Servicing and fault-finding on a variety of gas burner systems
- Installing and commissioning gas appliances and controls
- Carrying out repairs and maintenance on industrial and commercial gas systems
- Completing digital service reports accurately and in a timely manner
- Working to high safety standards across food and process industry sites
- Participating in a nationwide on-call rota and occasional weekend work
- Travelling to sites across the UK, with overnight stays as required
- ACS qualifications for commercial/industrial gas (e.g. COCN1 or CODNCO1, ICPN1, TPCP1, CIGA1, CDGA1, CORT1)
- Proven experience in installation, servicing, and breakdowns within the industrial or commercial gas sector
- Full UK driving licence and valid passport
- Willingness to travel nationally and work flexible hours, including weekends and overnight stays
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Additional ACS qualifications including LPG, ComCat 1 & 3, BMP1, TPCP1/A, CPA1, CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1
- Electrical qualifications and/or experience
- SPA Food Industry Safety Passport, IPAF, PASMA, Confined Space or Asbestos awareness
- Mechanical and pipework installation experience, ideally in food or process industries
- Salary between £37,000 – £50,000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

- Overtime paid door-to-door:
- Monday to Friday: time and a half
- Saturday AM: time and a half
- Saturday PM and Sunday: double time
- Paid travel time at overtime rate
- On-call / standby payment of £250 for 9 days every 8 weeks
- Additional £75 standby for Bank Holidays, plus a day off in lieu if not called out
- 40 hours per week, typically between 07:00 and 18:00 depending on customer needs
- Participation in on-call rota approximately one week in every eight
- Available to work up to two Saturdays per month
- Prepared to stay away from home up to eight days per month (usually no more than four nights at a time; hotels booked in advance)
