A fantastic opportunity to join a market-leading organisation as a Category Administrator, based at the UK Head Office in Manchester

This role sits within the Category function, whichworks to optimise performance of product groups in the marketplacethis includes analysing sales data (such as EPOS data), understanding customer behaviour, monitoring competitor activity, and supporting strategic decisions like pricing, promotions, and product placement. This role makes up part of the wider UK/EMEA Sales Team, and supports both Category and Sales through accurate data management, administrative coordination, and field-based insight gathering.

Reporting directly to the Category Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining EPOS and category data, ensuring consistency and correct formatting across all reporting platforms. Your responsibilities will include updating segmentation for new SKUs, keeping category and sales dashboards current, and assisting the sales team with the completion of new line forms and other administrative tasks. The role also requires regular store visits to observe and record in-store promotional activity, shelf space, and new product listings, bridging the gap between data analysis and real-world execution.

To succeed in this role, youll need to bring strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage a varied workload independently. Clear communication and a collaborative mindset are essential, as youll work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, and the Data Team. A background in data-focused or administrative roles is beneficial, and proficiency in Microsoft Officeespecially Excelis expected. Experience with Power BI is desirable but not essential. Most importantly, you should have a keen interest in the commercial impact of category management and a willingness to contribute to business growth through insight and support.
