Our Client is a leading ingredients supplier to manufacturers throughout the UK, customers range from SME to household name Brands and bulk co-manufacturers.

Description

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities through proactive outreach, networking, and market research.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients by understanding their needs, offering tailored solutions, and providing excellent customer service.
  • Act in a leadership capacity within the sales team - providing mentoring and training
  • Negotiate and close deals with a consultative sales approach, ensuring competitive pricing and profitability. Manage contract discussions and agreements with clients.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay ahead of industry trends, identify strengths and weaknesses of competitors, and leverage insights to refine sales approaches.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and generate new leads.

Profile

A successful 'Sales Manager' should have:

  • A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or 5 years' experience in Sales
  • Experience in ingredients / personal care / cosmetics / health & nutrition, ideally in a B2B capacity
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to handle complex sales.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
