A Ground Investigation and Environmental Consultancy located in Manchester are seeking an ambitious Engineering Geologist to join them on a variety of contaminated land and ground investigation projects.

The Engineering Geologist selected will be working with a small team of specialists on a huge variety of ground investigation & contaminated land projects, both on site and in office. You'll be overseeing ground investigations, borehole logging and coring, groundwater and gas monitoring, report writing, carrying out desktop studies and liaising with team members.

To be considered for this Engineering Geologist position you should have:

• Experience in a geo-environmental or geotechnical based role with report writing experience.
• A degree in a relevant subject, for example geology, geotechnical engineering, geography or civil engineering.
• Commutable to Manchester and the surrounding area.
• Full UK driving licence, as travelling to site will be essential.
• A full right to work in the UK.
