Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we have a new opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join a top leading client of ours. The role on offer is a contract position, working full time in our clients office in Manchester.

Our client is a leading environmental and engineering consultancy, focusing on the energy, development, infrastructure, and water sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

-Plan and oversee ground investigations and site assessments.

-Analyse geotechnical data and produce clear, accurate reports.

-Provide input into foundation, earthworks, slope stability, and retaining wall designs.

-Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to inform project development.

-Ensure designs meet relevant technical, safety, and environmental standards.

-Support the preparation of geotechnical risk assessments and technical submissions.

-Contribute to project planning and delivery across various sectors.

Key Requirements:

-Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.

-Previous experience in geotechnical investigations and reporting.

-Familiarity with geotechnical software such as PLAXIS, Wallap, or similar.

-Good understanding of British Standards and Eurocodes.

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
