Your new role
We are looking for a senior procurement professional with substantial public sector experience to lead civil engineering and construction procurement activities primarily focused on a major Competitive Dialogue project.
Key skills, experience & qualifications
Minimum 10 years of procurement expertise, including at least 5 years in public sector procurement, with a strong track record of managing complex, high-value infrastructure projects.
Proven experience leading civil and construction procurement activity, ideally within transport or infrastructure, including delivering renewals and capital works through frameworks and open market routes.
Ability to develop and execute procurement strategies that align with the 2023 Procurement Act, ensure value for money, and support major programmes through Competitive Dialogue and other regulated processes.
Deep understanding of contract law, risk management, and the full procurement lifecycle from requirements gathering and ITT development to evaluation, compliance, and supplier selection.
