Role: Mechanical Project Manager

Pay: 55,000.00-62,000.00 per year

Locations: Manchester, Stoke, Birmingham

Experience:

Proven delivery of mechanical packages on commercial fit-out projects (CAT A/B offices, retail, mixed-use), managing works from pre-construction to handover. Strong background in MEP coordination and design management, with the ability to lead site teams and subcontractors. Commercially astute with experience in cost control, procurement, variations, and risk management. Highly organised, capable of managing multiple fast-track projects, with excellent client and stakeholder communication skills.

Key Duties:

  • Must be willing to travel
  • Manage mechanical packages on commercial fit-out projects from design stage through installation, commissioning, and handover.
  • Oversee site teams and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered on time, on budget, and to specification.
  • Coordinate with design teams, main contractors, and clients to resolve technical, quality, and programme issues.
  • Control project costs, procurement, variations, and cash flow, ensuring strong commercial performance.
  • Monitor site progress, quality, and health & safety compliance across all live projects.
  • Deliver projects primarily in Birmingham, with regular travel to Manchester for regional works.
