Senior Planner / Project Control Engineer
Location: Manchester/Hybrid
Contract Length: Initial 6 months INSIDE IR35 – Potential to extend
We are seeking an experienced Planner / Project Control Engineer to join a major Rail and Transportation client on a high-impact infrastructure programme focused on the electrification of bus depots. This includes retrofitting existing facilities with electric charging infrastructure and the construction of new depots to support a cleaner, more sustainable future in public transport.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide project planning and control expertise across multiple workstreams.
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules.
- Support cost and resource planning to ensure programme efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, construction, and client teams.
Requirements:
- Significant experience in a similar senior-level planning or project controls role.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure and/or construction projects.
- Proficiency with project planning tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
