About the Role:
We are working in partnership with a fast-growing, forward-thinking FM company seeking a skilled and proactive Project Electrical Engineer to join their expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic organisation delivering high-quality electrical installation projects across a wide portfolio of commercial sites in the Northwest.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver end-to-end electrical installation projects across sites in Bolton, Manchester, Blackpool, and nearby areas.
  • Carry out electrical works including power distribution, lighting, containment, and other commercial installations.
  • Work closely with project managers and clients to ensure installations are completed to spec, on time and within budget.
  • Perform site assessments, pre-works surveys, and contribute to RAMS documentation.
  • Oversee and coordinate subcontractors and site teams to ensure safe and efficient project delivery.
  • Ensure all works are compliant with the latest IET wiring regulations (BS 7671) and company standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and site reports.
  • Participate in project handovers and commissioning processes.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification (BS 7671).
  • JIB Gold card required or JIB approved Gold card required
  • Experience delivering electrical installation projects within the commercial or public sector environment.
  • Strong understanding of health & safety practices and ability to contribute to RAMS.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the North West.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Desirable:

  • Experience working within Facilities Management or with FM service providers.
  • Inspection & Testing (2391 or equivalent) qualification.
  • SSSTS or SMSTS (not essential but advantageous).
