About the Role:
We are working in partnership with a fast-growing, forward-thinking FM company seeking a skilled and proactive Project Electrical Engineer to join their expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic organisation delivering high-quality electrical installation projects across a wide portfolio of commercial sites in the Northwest.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver end-to-end electrical installation projects across sites in Bolton, Manchester, Blackpool, and nearby areas.
- Carry out electrical works including power distribution, lighting, containment, and other commercial installations.
- Work closely with project managers and clients to ensure installations are completed to spec, on time and within budget.
- Perform site assessments, pre-works surveys, and contribute to RAMS documentation.
- Oversee and coordinate subcontractors and site teams to ensure safe and efficient project delivery.
- Ensure all works are compliant with the latest IET wiring regulations (BS 7671) and company standards.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and site reports.
- Participate in project handovers and commissioning processes.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification (BS 7671).
- JIB Gold card required or JIB approved Gold card required
- Experience delivering electrical installation projects within the commercial or public sector environment.
- Strong understanding of health & safety practices and ability to contribute to RAMS.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the North West.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Desirable:
- Experience working within Facilities Management or with FM service providers.
- Inspection & Testing (2391 or equivalent) qualification.
- SSSTS or SMSTS (not essential but advantageous).
