Are you a Building Surveyor who wants to accelerate your career by working on a variety of exciting projects across Manchester and the Northwest, with a consultancy that will support your growth every step of the way? If the answer's yes, this is the role for you!

We're working with a progressive construction consultancy looking for a motivated Building Surveyor - who's keen to step into a Senior role - to join their expanding Manchester office. You'll gain exposure to high-profile projects - from commercial redevelopments to major residential and mixed-use schemes - while building the leadership and client-facing skills to fast-track your career.

What you'll be doing

  • Supporting and delivering a broad range of Building Surveying services across commercial, residential, and mixed-use sectors in Manchester and the wider region.
  • Taking on increasing responsibility in client liaison, ensuring projects run smoothly from start to finish.
  • Assisting with defect analysis, surveys, technical due diligence, and dilapidations advice.
  • Contributing to specifications, reports, and acting as Contract Administrator under JCT and NEC contracts.
  • Working on framework commissions and gaining early exposure to shaping project strategies.
  • Developing leadership skills by guiding and supporting junior colleagues.

What they're looking for

  • RICS-accredited degree in Building Surveying.
  • Chartered (MRICS) or on your way there - full support will be provided.
  • Proven experience in core surveying tasks, with an eagerness to take on bigger challenges.
  • Comfortable using AutoCAD and NBS (knowledge of Revit/BIM is a bonus, not essential).
  • Experience in both project and professional building surveying.
  • Strong communication skills, with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
  • Keen to build commercial awareness and take on more client-facing responsibilities.

Why join?

  • Clear progression pathway with mentoring to help you grow into a confident Senior Surveyor.
  • Be part of a supportive, ambitious Manchester team that values collaboration and fresh ideas.
  • Work on varied, exciting projects across the Northwest - no two days are the same.
  • Gain the autonomy you're looking for, without losing the support network around you.
