Job Title: Building Surveyor

Salary: 35,000 - 40,000
About the role:
We are currently working with a well-established, dynamic property consultancy seeking a talented and motivated Building Surveyor to join their team. They provide diverse and engaging work opportunities with a range of private and public sector clients.
Key Responsibilities of the Building Surveyor:
- Provide advice on repairs, maintenance, and improvements for both residential and commercial properties.
- Ensure all projects comply with relevant building codes, health and safety standards, and regulations.
- Conduct thorough building inspections, identifying and assessing the condition of structures.
- Prepare detailed reports and recommend solutions for any identified issues or defects.
- Assist in managing the design and implementation of building projects.
- Collaborate with other professionals such as architects, engineers, and contractors to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Requirements of the Building Surveyor:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
- Strong knowledge of building regulations, construction techniques, and health and safety standards.
- Experience in surveying commercial properties.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Ideally, you will have or be working towards MRICS (Chartered status) but this is not essential.
