We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Environment Manager to lead building safety across high- and low-rise apartment blocks and offices, with a strong focus on the Building Safety Act 2022.

Role Overview:
You’ll ensure compliance with statutory and non-statutory safety regulations, promote a culture of wellbeing, and safeguard staff, residents, and building users. Passion for health and safety and ongoing professional development are key.

Qualifications & Skills:
NEBOSH Health & Safety qualification (or equivalent)
Fire Safety qualification (IFE/IFSM or equivalent)
Environmental experience and ISO 14001 knowledge
Strong grasp of H&S legislation in construction/property sectors
Proven experience with high-risk residential buildings and Building Safety Act 2022
CDM regulation expertise
Excellent communication, IT skills, and relationship-building
Self-motivated, pragmatic, and results-driven
Full UK driving licence and ability to travel regularly
IOSH/IIRSM membership
Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain safety information systems and accurate records
Advise on fire safety, legionella, asbestos, electrical and gas compliance
Conduct audits, inspections, and ensure remedial actions

Communicate safety measures to residents
Lead disaster recovery drills and incident reporting
Support cultural improvements in H&S across sites
Investigate incidents and environmental impacts
Provide SHE advice to staff and leadership
Deliver statistical insights and root cause analysis
