The Role of the Principal Fire Engineer
As a Principal Fire Engineer, you will take a leading role in delivering fire engineering strategies across a diverse portfolio of projects. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, manage and mentor , and contribute to the strategic growth of the business, including the exciting expansion into Birmingham.
This is a key leadership position that combines technical excellence, client engagement, and business development, with the chance to shape both project outcomes and the company's future.
Key Responsibilities of the Principal Fire Engineer
- Lead the design, delivery, and review of fire engineering strategies.
- Design Fire Safe Solutions for a multitude of buildings
- Act as a senior point of contact for clients, building strong, long-term relationships.
- Support and mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Contribute to the development and launch of the new Birmingham office, helping to shape its long-term success.
- Prepare proposals, manage project budgets, and ensure delivery to the highest standards.
- Represent at meetings, industry forums, and events.
