An independent, specialist fire safety engineering consultancy with an international intention to support a safe future in fire safety and a passion for sustainability, are looking for senior fire engineers to support their offices across the UK
Now seeking a Senior Fire Engineer to join their Manchester office, where you'll play a key role in delivering creative, performance-based fire engineering solutions on some of the most exciting and complex projects in the UK and internationally.
The Senior Fire Engineer responsibilities:
- Developing and delivering fire safety strategies across a range of sectors, from commercial and residential to high-risk and specialist facilities.
- Applying advanced modelling tools (e.g. CFD, evacuation modelling) to provide innovative, performance-based design solutions.
- Collaborating closely with architects, design teams, and clients to integrate fire safety into every stage of the project lifecycle.
- Supporting the development of junior engineers and contributing to knowledge-sharing within the team.
The Senior Fire Engineer requirements:
- Experience in fire engineering consultancy (ideally 2+ years).
- Knowledge of UK regulations and standards, with a good grasp of performance-based fire design.
- Experience with fire modelling (CFD, evacuation) would be an advantage.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
