Major Recruitment are recruiting Commercial Vehicle Body Builders for our prestigious manufacturing client based in North Manchester.

Previous commercial vehicle body building / coachbuilding experience is essential to be considered for the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- To undertake newbuild and repair activities on vehicles of all types to the highest standard within the scheduled times.
- To retrofit to the highest standards supplementary equipment.
- To care for customers’ vehicles and property and seek to achieve the highest customer satisfaction.
- To carry out all work in a safe, environmentally friendly, and economical way.
- To build a bank of knowledge and skills to ensure you build to the latest recommended operating procedures
- To share skills and knowledge to develop others within the business.
- To enhance the company reputation at every opportunity when interacting with others internally or externally.
- To uphold the company’s Core Values at all times.
Location:Â North Manchester
Contract Type:Â Permanent
Pay Rate:Â Competitive negotiable based on experienceÂ
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 7am – 3.30pm (40 hours per week)
Overtime is paid after 40 hours at time and a half.
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the Commercial Vehicle manufacturing Industry
- Experience using hand, power and air tools
- Ability to read engineering drawings and work to fine tolerances
- Physically fit
- Welding experience is highly desirable
