Position: Sales Representative – Technical Products
Salary: £50-55k base, £65-70k OTE
Location: North of England (Midlands to North of Scotland)
Contract Type: Full-time, permanent

We’re partnering with a well-established and growing UK-based manufacturer and distributor of specialist technical products to recruit an experienced Sales Representative for a key regional role covering the North of England.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company with a strong market presence and ambitious plans to double its turnover in the next three years. You’ll be responsible for managing and growing sales across a defined territory, supported by a collaborative team and excellent technical resources.
The role
As a Sales Representative, you’ll take ownership of a large geographical area, promoting a specialist portfolio of technical solutions across a range of industries. You’ll build strong relationships with new and existing customers, providing expert advice and ensuring a smooth end-to-end client experience from first contact to post-sale support.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to meet and exceed revenue targets
- Identify and engage with potential clients across a variety of sectors
- Deliver persuasive product presentations and demonstrations to decision-makers
- Build lasting relationships with customers through regular follow-ups and excellent service
- Collaborate closely with internal technical teams to ensure customer requirements are fully met
- Maintain accurate CRM records and manage a healthy sales pipeline
- Stay informed about market trends and competitor activity
- Attend relevant trade events, exhibitions, and conferences to raise brand awareness and generate leads
About you
We’re looking for a self-motivated and results-driven sales professional with:
- A proven track record in technical field sales
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
- The ability to plan strategically and manage a busy workload across a wide area
- Excellent communication skills and a consultative approach to sales
- Proficiency with CRM tools and a keen eye for detail
- Willingness to travel extensively across the region (Midlands to North of Scotland)
- A proactive attitude and a passion for contributing to business growth
