The Role
As a BMS Assistant Commissioning Engineer, you'll work alongside experienced commissioning engineers, gaining hands-on experience and learning to deliver high-quality BMS solutions for our clients.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Supporting the commissioning of Building management systems (BMS) control systems across commercial and industrial projects.
Installing, wiring, and testing BMS panels and field devices.
Assisting with system checks, calibration, and fault finding.
Learning to interpret control drawings, schematics, and software graphics.
Collaborating with project teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and to high standards.
About You
This role will ideally suit a qualified Electrician with a background in panel installation or controls wiring who wants to progress into BMS commissioning.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
Electrical qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition).
Experience in installing or wiring BMS panels or control systems.
A proactive attitude and a genuine desire to learn.
Basic understanding or exposure to BACnet, Modbus, or KNX protocols (advantageous but not essential).
A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the North West region.
