We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Building Surveyor to join a prominent engineering consultancy. The successful candidate will support a range of projects for education and commercial buildings, primarily for local authorities in Manchester, Leeds, and Newcastle.

This role demands over 10 years of experience in building surveying, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality consultancy services. The candidate will be responsible for managing and executing complex projects, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The role offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse projects and contribute to the growth and success of the consultancy.

Skills:

  • Extensive experience in Building Surveying (10+ years)
  • Project management and contract administration expertise
  • Strong technical due diligence capabilities
  • Proficiency in condition surveys and dilapidations
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Familiarity with building pathology
  • Experience in leading and mentoring junior surveyors
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
