- Create and refine CNC programs using Autodesk Powermill.
- Interpret technical drawings and CAD models to generate accurate toolpaths.
- Select suitable cutting tools, feeds, and speeds for various materials.
- Produce detailed setup sheets for operators.
- Conduct test runs and fine-tune programs for accuracy and cycle-time optimisation.
- Use Powershape to design jigs, fixtures, and bespoke holding solutions.
- Collaborate closely with machinists to improve programming and machining outcomes.
- Apply revision control to all programming and setup data.
- Experience in CNC programming for 3-axis & 5-axis machining centres.
- High-level proficiency in Autodesk Powermill and Powershape (Fusion 360 a bonus).
- Strong knowledge of multi-axis machining strategies and tooling techniques.
- Solid understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Practical knowledge of material properties and best practices for collision avoidance.
