Full Time Temporary (56 months)
Role Purpose:
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Project Manager to support the delivery of a number of building refurbishment projects over the next 56 months. This temporary position is ideal for someone with a strong background in property maintenance, construction, or facilities management, who can work independently while collaborating with senior leaders and delivery teams. You will oversee multiple project workstreams, help interpret technical designs, liaise with contractors, and ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to a high standard. Your ability to balance autonomy with collaboration will be key to the success of this work.
Duties:

• Support the proven management and delivery of building refurbishment projects across commercial properties.
• Liaise with contractors and internal stakeholders to ensure high-quality project execution.
• Assess and interpret building floor plans, specifications, and general arrangement drawings.
• Monitor progress against timelines, budgets, and compliance with health & safety regulations (including CDM).
• Conduct regular site visits across Manchester City Centre and the wider Greater Manchester region.
• Report project updates to senior leadership and help manage risk and issue resolution.

Required Skills:

• Experience in project management within the building, maintenance, refurbishments, or facilities sector.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with autonomy.
• Experience reviewing and understanding technical drawings and construction plans.
• A practical understanding of building design, material fit and finish, and fire compartmentation.
• Knowledge of health and safety protocols, including familiarity with CDM Regulations.
• Experience managing projects for commercial or private sector clients.
• Background in property operations or facilities management.
• Awareness of compliance and quality assurance in a refurbishment context.

Due to the nature of this role, you will need to have access to your own vehicle.
