Permanent Site Manager - £55-62k + Package | High-Rise Residential | Manchester City Centre

Our Manchester-based client has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality construction projects across the North West, particularly in the commercial and residential sectors. With a healthy pipeline of future work and exciting growth plans, they are seeking a skilled Site Manager for a key permanent position, initially assigned to a major new-build development of 500 apartments in the city centre.

Your Role on Site:
As Site Manager, you will be at the forefront of site operations for this substantial residential scheme. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring all activities align with programme, quality, and safety standards, reporting into the Project Manager.
Key responsibilities include:
- Direct line management of Assistant Site Managers.
- Expert coordination of all site trades and material logistics.
- Implementing stringent quality control measures for all works.
- Delivering essential site inductions and regular Toolbox Talks.
- Proactive monitoring and management of site progress against the project programme.
- Maintaining and enforcing the highest standards of Health and Safety on site at all times.
Skills & Experience Required:
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Experience managing the entire construction lifecycle of building projects valued at a minimum of £20 million.
- Non-negotiable experience working on high-rise new-build residential or commercial projects.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a talent for finding practical, effective solutions.
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Essential site qualifications: CSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid.
- A background from a trade is preferred.

This permanent role offers a competitive remuneration and benefits package:
- Salary: £55,000 - £62,000 per annum (DOE).
