You will be working for a global real estate service and investment management firm. The firm's core services are Real Estate Services, Investment Management, Capital Markets & Consulting, Technology and Innovation.
Your new role
Your new role will sit within the national Living team based in Manchester as a Stock Condition Programme Manager.
The team works with all client groups in the social and affordable housing sector, public sector, central government and for specialist providers of all types of housing and residential assets.You will take the lead in the management and delivery of survey programmes and to provide first class advisory services to our clients throughout the property lifecycle.

The role would suit someone with experience of designing, managing and delivering stock condition surveys who has a passion for data, compliance, asset management and advisory services for business planning, regulatory compliance and stock rationalisation.The role would be based at the Manchester office, but with flexible and hybrid working. Some travel nationally will be required for client meetings, and potentially for visits to the housing stock.What this job involves:

  • Designing, managing and delivering surveys of small, medium and large portfolios
  • Setting up surveys, managing multiple groups of surveyors, interpretation of results and reporting
  • Data management, database management and quality assurance
  • Subsequent advisory services
  • Making sustainable business links with both external and internal clients and offering a professional and excellent client service at all times
  • Working with internal multi-disciplinary teams on shared instructions including our market leading affordable housing valuation and transaction teams
  • Undertaking business development with new and existing clients
  • Some travel will be required in this role


What you'll need to succeed

  • Ideally MRICS/ CIH or similar with proven experience
  • Understanding of or qualifications for SAP/NHER, NEBOSH, DEA, DHS and HHSRS
  • Fluent user of MS Excel including data analysis
  • Comfortable handling large amounts of data
  • Excellent written English, with the ability to produce high quality, accurate reports in MS Word with good attention to detail
  • Project management with experience of supporting multiple client relationships and instructions
  • Ability to work under pressure and to manage multiple, competing priorities
  • Strong work ethic, with a demonstrable commitment to client service
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated
  • Flexible, team player
  • Driving licence essential
