Site Manager / Senior Site Manager (New Build Industrial Project)
Our clientare looking for a hands-on, experienced Site Manager to take control of a high-value new build industrial project, managing day-to-day site operations and driving delivery on programme, quality, and safety. This role is ideal for a confident leader with a track record in delivering complex steel-frame or large-scale industrial schemes.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all on-site activities, including subcontractor coordination, materials, site logistics, and compliance.
Lead site inductions, toolbox talks, and ensure a strong health & safety culture on site.
Work closely with the Project Manager and commercial team to maintain programme, budget, and reporting standards.
Monitor construction progress against plans and provide input to sequencing and resourcing.
Ensure quality control and snag-free delivery at handover.
Requirements:
Proven experience managing industrial or commercial construction projects (e.g., warehouses, factories, distribution centers).
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage subcontractors and drive performance.
Excellent knowledge of construction methods and building regulations.
Valid SMSTS, CSCS (Black Card), and First Aid certification.
Good IT and reporting skills (e.g., site diaries, RAMS, snagging tools).
