An award-winning business support provider is seeking a Senior Health and Safety Advisor to join their Manchester-based advisory team. This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of health and safety guidance, working directly with a wide variety of UK businesses to ensure legal compliance and promote safe working environments.
Key Responsibilities for the Senior Health and Safety Advisor will include:
- To provide expert Health & Safety advice to clients across a range of sectors, including specialist areas such as Fire Safety, Food Safety, and high-risk industries like construction.
- To take a senior role within the advisory team, offering leadership in the absence of the principal advisor and providing mentoring and day-to-day support to other advisors.
- To deliver clear, practical advice through phone and email, assist clients with online systems, and make proactive service calls to enhance their safety performance.
- To review and improve client documentation such as risk assessments and management systems, liaise with external agencies when required, and contribute to technical resources and guidance materials.
The Ideal Senior Health and Safety Advisor will have:
- A NEBOSH General Certificate.
- Proven experience in a health and safety role, ideally in construction, though other relevant experience will be considered.
- Organised, professional, and safety-driven, with previous leadership or mentoring experience being advantageous.
