Contract Manager -HVAC FM
My client is a provider of M&E Building Services & FM specialists in the provision of tailored and bespoke technical services, both maintenance and projects focussed, across a varied, blue-chip client portfolio to include Corporate & Commercial settings respectively.
A Contract Manager is required to manage the provision of mechanical/HVAC hard services maintenance to a multi-site client portfolio incorporating a varied portfolio of commercial, commercial, retail & managing agent facilities.
The Contract Manager will manage the provision of mechanical hard services PPM/reactive & small-works to include (not limited to) HVAC, mechanical, commercial heating & L8 as well as LED replacement projects and small-scale AC system i.e. AHU installations.
The Contract Manager will be responsible for a team of mobile HVAC engineers and will ensure that all technical services are carried out in a timely, efficient and effective manner, in line with the aforementioned criteria as well as supervise all sub-contractors and third parties, ensuring that supply chain adopt the same approach with regard to high standards of workmanship and QSHE requirements respectively.
Please Note
- The successful candidate will be expected to generate additional/new business by way of maximising on the existing client base as well as taking an active role in business development, new business tenders, mobilisation of new contracts, contract retention & renewals respectively.
- This position requires a Mechanical/HVAC bias in terms of qualifications, skill set, background and experience due to the nature of works to be delivered/new works generated.
Candidate Requirements
- Hold relevant M&E/HVAC qualifications and further training commensurate with the position
- The successful candidate will hold a current position of a Contract Manager (or relevant title/position) within an M&E Maintenance environment
- Demonstrate a strong commercial awareness when managing M&E Maintenance contracts
- Excellent presentation and communication skills with a 'keen eye for detail' and astute commercial awareness.
- Possess a strong aptitude for business development and contract growth with the ability to deliver financial, commercial and safety objectives in line with business strategies
- Supplier and contract management skills, including proven negotiation abilities
