An excellent opportunity for an experienced HGV Technician, Master Technician, or Learning & Development professional to move into a long-term Technical Trainer role. Following a 2 million investment into a brand-new Manchester training centre, this business is expanding its internal training team to support the development of qualified engineers through to Master Technician level.
This role focuses on delivering high-quality technical training to internal employees, combining classroom-based learning with hands-on workshop training using modern tooling and bespoke facilities. Full product training is provided where required.
The Role
- Deliver technical training to qualified HGV technicians, progressing them through advanced and Master Technician levels
- Provide classroom and practical workshop-based training using modern diagnostic tools and equipment
- Support ongoing upskilling, certification updates and internal development programmes
- Work as part of a dedicated training team within a newly built, purpose-designed facility

The Person
- Background as an HGV Technician, Master Technician, or Technical Trainer
- Experience with Scania, MAN, Volvo or similar commercial vehicles (preferred)
- Level 3 training qualification (or willingness to work towards)
- Full UK driving licence
- Ex-Forces, Fire Service, or Learning & Development professionals encouraged to apply
