I am currently supporting a client of mine with their search for a creative and talented Learning and Development Manager. This is a brand new role where you will join a high-performing People Team to build the function.

Below is an overview of the key things you will take responsibility for:

  • Partnering with Managers to understand learning needs, devising a comprehensive learning strategy aligned to the wider business strategy
  • Creating e-learning courses, workshops and other learning initiatives
  • Assessing the effectiveness of all learning activity on performance
  • Overseeing the budget
  • Liaising with external providers
  • Ensuring comprehensive records are maintained for all learning activity
  • Working with the business to establish an internal training academy
  • Working with Managers on succession planning
  • Developing an effective apprenticeship programme

To be considered for this role it is essential that you have a proven track record in implementing / developing a learning and development function. Excellent stakeholder management skills along with the ability to manage a variety of projects simultaneously are essential for this role along with a creative approach to learning and development.

Please note this is a hybrid role with a couple of days a week being required in the office and the rest of the time being worked from home; there is also some flexibility around the hours worked.
