OVERVIEW: PRODUCT TRAINER

We are currently recruiting for a Product Trainer for a well-established manufacturing company for niche products for individuals with diverse needs and abilities.

Based from home, you will be trained to deliver world-class product training to customers in the Northern Regions, including Manchester, Leeds, Harrogate and Bradford. You must be flexible to travel - company car and fuel card will be provided.

THE ROLE OF THE PRODUCT TRAINER

Responsible for delivering engaging and informative training courses; you will instil confidence and competence in delegates in the use and operation of products. The Product Trainer will demonstrate a high level of knowledge and skill in the use of the range of products. You will have strong communication skills and be able to adapt your style to ensure delegates are engaged in the training course and gain the necessary requirements to pass the course.

We are looking for applicants that are self-motivated, a team player and have a 'hands on approach' to work within this rewarding environment.

MAIN DUTIES - PRODUCT TRAINER

  • Conducting engaging training sessions on customers sites.
  • Demonstrating the correct usage of our products and showcasing their features, benefits and USP's,
  • Delivery of informative training sessions which develop skills and confidence with delegates to enable them to operate our products to a high level.
  • Delivery of correct delegate details and supply to internal team to enable training certificates to be issued.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to identify potential sales opportunities and contribute to promotional strategies.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: PRODUCT TRAINER

  • Experience of delivering training and presenting to groups of people face to face
  • Teaching or training qualification at Level 3 or above
  • Excellent Interpersonal/communication skills
  • Flexibility to travel
  • Proficient in using Outlook and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Self-motivated, able to work under own initiative and without supervision
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure required tasks are monitored and prioritised.
  • Ability to coach and influence a range of audiences effectively
