Our client are seeking a versatile and experienced Working Foreman to join their expanding team, specialising in CAT A and CAT B commercial fit-outs. This Manchester-based role involves travel to project sites nationwide and offers a unique opportunity to combine hands-on trade skills with on-site leadership.

  • Act as the key on-site point of contact, liaising with the Project Manager and other stakeholders to ensure progress, quality, and compliance.

  • Read and interpret technical drawings to carry out work and guide others effectively.

  • Maintain a safe and organised site environment, ensuring full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

  • Monitor progress and assist with resolving any on-site challenges promptly and professionally.

  • Contribute to the overall delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

Requirements

  • SMSTS certification is essential.

  • A strong background in joinery with the ability to turn your hand to multiple trades.

  • Experience in a Working Foreman, Site Supervisor, or similar hands-on leadership role within CAT A and CAT B fit-outs.

  • Comfortable taking ownership of minor works while leading and coordinating others when needed.

  • Strong understanding of construction processes and site management best practices.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a practical, can-do attitude.

  • Willingness to travel nationally as required.
