My Client, a specialist UK based Engineering Consultancy, based in central Manchester is searching for a Senior Flood Risk Consultant to join their bespoke team. You will have the chance to develop the team, manage projects and complete complete projects spanning residential, commercial and renewable energy projects.
Applicants are required to have a strong MSc and/or BSc in a relevant discipline including Environmental Management, Hydrology or Civil Engineering and have experience working for UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Strategies and Drainage Designs ideally using Causeway Flow or Microdrainage.
It is also beneficial for applicants to have experience managing projects, liaising with Clients to develop new opportunities and completing detailed design solutions including soakaways and lagoons.
This exciting role will offer you the chance to join a supportive team based across two locations in Manchester. You will join a bespoke team and have the chance to lead projects and check and complete complex and varied Flood Risk and Drainage for Private Sector Clients, Local Authorities and Housing Developers.
You will be required to complete technical work including Flood Risk Assessments for Planning Applications
-Drainage Strategies
-Drainage Design using Infodrainage or Causeway for pre-planning projects.
-Mentor and manage junior candidates.
You will also have the opportunity to be involved in Environmental and Hydrological Projects, site visits and networking events with new and existing Clients across the region.
