This is an excellent opportunity to join my client, a trusted, eco-conscious Multidisciplinary Consultancy, renowned for their expertise across the engineering and environmental landscapes, including flood management and ground investigation. They are seeking a keen, experienced Senior Flood Risk Consultant willing to take on a variety of challenging projects alongside a growing team of experts, based in the vibrant, culturally-diverse city of Manchester.

Responsibilities for the role of Senior Flood Risk Consultant include:
- Completing technical work across a range of complex projects
- Authoring Flood Risk Assessments for Planning Applications
- Producing Drainage Strategies and Drainage Designs
- Utilising a number of relevant software packages, such as InfoDrainage and Causeway PDS
- Providing mentorship and leadership to colleagues
- Getting involved with Environmental and Hydrological Projects
- Attending site visits and meetings across the region, representing the company
- Liaising with a number of clients and stakeholders across the public and private sectors
Required skills and experience for the role of Senior Flood Risk Consultant include:
- A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Hydrology, Civil Engineering, or similar, relevant discipline
- Demonstrable experience of having worked in a design role, within a UK-based consultancy setting (or for a Local Authority)
- Extensive experience of completing Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Strategies, and Drainage Designs
- Excellent working knowledge of Causeway Flow, MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage, and other, similar software
- Good communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
Desirable skills and experience for the role of Senior Flood Risk Consultant include:
- Experience of managing design projects
- Experience of creating detailed design solutions for soakaways and lagoons
- Hold Chartership Status, or actively working to attain this
- Prior experience of liaising with a diverse range of clientele
