Job Overview:
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and motivated Secondary ECTs to join our vibrant network of secondary schools across Manchester. This role offers immediate ad-hoc opportunities across a range of subjects for KS3 and KS4, with positions for September also becoming available. Whether you're newly qualified or looking for your first long-term post, we’d love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4 within your subject specialism

Plan, mark, and assess in line with school policies and curriculum expectations

Create an inclusive and positive classroom environment through effective behaviour management
-
Work collaboratively with other teachers, support staff, and pastoral teams to support student achievement

Contribute to the wider school community and extra-curricular activities where possible
-
Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians regarding progress and any areas of concern
-
Adapt teaching strategies to meet the varied needs of learners, including those with SEND
Requirements:

PGCE with QTS or pending QTS status in your subject area

Placement or teaching experience within a secondary school environment

Strong understanding of classroom and behaviour management strategies

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Passion for inspiring and engaging secondary-aged students

Commitment to personal development and reflective practice
