Are you enthusiastic about supporting young children at the very start of their learning journey? We are currently looking for a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in the Newton Heath area of Manchester.

This role offers the chance to support children in Nursery and Reception classes, helping to create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children's learning through play and structured activities

  • Assist with early language, literacy, and numeracy development

  • Provide emotional and social support to help children feel confident and secure

  • Work closely with class teachers and Early Years practitioners

  • Help with observations and tracking of children's progress

We're Looking For Someone Who:

  • Has experience working in an Early Years setting (school or nursery)

  • Is caring, patient, and energetic

  • Understands the EYFS framework and principles

  • Can build warm and positive relationships with children and staff

  • Holds a relevant Early Years or Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
