Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Early Years

Are you a passionate and experienced Early Years practitioner with strong behaviour management skills? Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a warm, inclusive Early Years setting in Oldham.

This full-time role is perfect for someone who thrives in a nurturing environment and is committed to giving every child the best start in life. You'll be working closely with the Nursery Manager and families to create a safe, stimulating, and supportive space for young learners.

�? Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Nursery Manager in delivering high-quality learning and care to Early Years pupils.

  • Develop and implement effective strategies to manage and reduce challenging behaviour.

  • Promote positive relationships with pupils and their families to ensure consistency between home and school.

  • Contribute to the development and delivery of individual education plans (IEPs).

  • Monitor and track children's progress in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

  • Level 3 or higher qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.

  • Proven experience managing behaviour in young children, especially in an Early Years setting.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in partnership with families and staff.

  • A proactive, caring approach with a genuine commitment to supporting all children, including those with special educational needs.

  • Solid knowledge of the EYFS framework and a passion for child development.
