Phonics Teaching Assistant - Trafford

Are you and experienced Teaching Assistant who feels confident delivering Phonics sessions to students in Early Years and KS1?

This two-form entry Primary school require a Teaching Assistant to work with students in KS1 with strong experience in Phonics. Ideally you will have experience working with and using Jolly Phonics, Letter & Sounds and/or Read Write Inc. You will lead Intervention groups and work with SEND students so you may need a strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.

The school offer excellent specialist spaces for interventions to be delivered and have great leadership teams who respect work/life balance. To be considered for this position you must have a proven track record of supporting pupils in Early Years and KS1, including academic interventions in reading/writing or maths; have strong language and literacy skills; be able to engage pupils and differentiate work according to academic levels; and a clear understanding of phonics.
