Reeson Education is recruiting a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic KS1 team at a welcoming primary school in the M18 area of Manchester. This Teaching Assistant role is full-time, long-term, and starts as soon as possible.

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll be supporting children across Year 1 and Year 2, providing small group interventions, 1:1 support, and general classroom assistance. The school is well-known for its strong leadership, inclusive ethos, and supportive staff team - making it an incredible environment for any Teaching Assistant who wants to thrive and grow!

Key Responsibilities for the Teaching Assistant:* Support learning as a Teaching Assistant across KS1 classrooms.* Deliver interventions in phonics, early reading, and basic maths.* Provide one-to-one support for pupils with additional learning needs.* Foster a positive, nurturing, and engaging classroom atmosphere.* Work closely with class teachers and SENDCOs to support all learners.

The Ideal Teaching Assistant Will:* Be a dynamic and nurturing Teaching Assistant with KS1 experience.* Have a good understanding of the KS1 curriculum and early learning needs.* Be confident supporting a range of abilities and adapting approaches.* Be proactive, flexible, and a real team player.* Have strong communication skills and a positive, caring attitude.

Teaching Assistant Requirements:* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply).* Right to work in the UK.* Recent references covering the last 2-3 years.* A genuine passion for working as a Teaching Assistant in KS1.
