Job Description:Reeson Education is seeking a passionate Teaching Assistant to provide one-to-one support to a Year 6 pupil with ADHD in a friendly primary school setting. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the pupil to help manage their learning, behaviour, and emotional needs, ensuring they are supported in achieving their full potential. This role is ideal for an experienced Teaching Assistant who is empathetic, patient, and skilled at working with pupils who have ADHD.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support to a Year 6 pupil with ADHD.
  • Implement strategies to support learning, behaviour, and emotional well-being.
  • Work alongside teachers to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Assist in lesson preparation and classroom activities as directed by the teacher.
  • Build a trusting, supportive relationship with the pupil to encourage progress and development.

Requirements:

  • Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
  • A strong understanding of ADHD and strategies for supporting children with additional needs.
