Tradewind are seeking a dedicated Year 4 1-1 Teaching Assistant to join a thriving team at a school in the diverse area of Levenshulme. As a Year 4 1-1 Teaching Assistant at our partner school, you will play a crucial role in supporting a child on a 1-1 basis in a diverse Year 4 class. You will be responsible for the safety and well-being of this child, as well as their educational progression This post is required immediately, and you will be needed until the end of the academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Year 4 student on a one-on-one basis to provide tailored academic support.
- Implement and support behaviour plans, reinforcing positive behaviour and helping manage any challenges that may arise.
- Act as a communication link between the teacher, student, and parents, providing regular feedback on progress.
- Implement accommodations specified in the student's Individualised Education Program (IEP).

Essential requirements:
To join us and be successful in this Teaching Assistant role, you will need to:
- Have a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
- Have previous experience supporting pupils on a 1-1 basis
- Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
- Provide a CV with employment/education history included. Employment breaks must be explained.
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
