Teaching Assistants - Tameside

Location: Tameside and nearby areas

Pay: £90-£100 per day (depending on experience)

Start date: Ready when you are

Contract: Totally flexible - day-to-day, long-term, or temp-to-perm

Hours: Full-time or part-time, term-time only

We're teaming up with some great schools around Tameside who need reliable, patient, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants ready to step in and make a difference. What you'll be up to:

Supporting pupils one-on-one, in small groups, or alongside the teacher during lessons

Helping kids stay focused, confident, and engaged

Assisting pupils with extra needs, behaviour challenges, or just general support

Collaborating with teachers to create a positive and supportive classroom vibe

We're looking for someone who:

Has hands-on experience with children or young people (in any setting)

Is calm, approachable, and proactive

Follows routines but isn't afraid to think on their feet

Can adapt to different students needs and keep things running smoothly

What you'll need:

Enhanced DBS (or be happy to apply for one)

Two recent references (from the past two years)

The right to work in the UK
