The Opportunity

As an Intermediate Electrical Engineer, you'll join a well-established team of engineers and contribute to the delivery of high-quality building services design work. You'll gain exposure across all stages of project delivery and be supported by senior staff while taking on growing responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and delivery of electrical building services systems across various project types
  • Prepare drawings, schematics, calculations, and specifications under the guidance of senior engineers
  • Contribute to sustainable, energy-efficient design outcomes in line with UK legislation and best practices
  • Attend project meetings and liaise with other design disciplines and external stakeholders
  • Work across all RIBA stages, with particular involvement in detailed design and coordination
  • Take ownership of tasks, while continuously developing your technical and professional skills

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Qualifications: HNC, degree, or equivalent in Building Services or Electrical Engineering
  • Experience: 2-5 years in building services consultancy, ideally with exposure to residential, education, or public-sector projects
  • Software: Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech, and Dialux/Relux
  • Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, clear communicator, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • A genuine interest in sustainable design and a desire to grow within a supportive, people-focused business
