Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Oldham, Great Manchester 

3 Shift   6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am

Up to £47K

We are currently looking for a strong electrical engineer to join a manufacturing company based on the outskirts of Oldham. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repair across a range of automated production machinery. You’ll use your strong electrical background to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient production operations.

Responsibility’s:

  • Provide electrical maintenance and repair on production machinery
  • Carry out advanced fault finding on control systems and electrical circuits
  • Diagnose issues on PLCs, drives, sensors, and safety circuits
  • Work independently and safely, responding quickly to breakdowns to minimise downtime
  • Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives across the site

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 18th Edition
  • ONC or Equivalent within an engineering discipline
  • PLC Fault Finding
  • Read Electrical Drawings
