The position is for a Senior Pipeline Engineer with a hybrid work model, requiring two days in one of several UK office locations.
The contract duration is for 6 months or longer, with a pay rate of £65 per hour, classified as inside IR35.

Candidates must be Chartered Civil Engineers with experience in pipeline design and knowledge of relevant hydraulic and material standards.
Proficiency in digital analysis software such as HADES and InfoWorks is required, along with the ability to collaborate with teams both domestically and internationally.

Location: Hybrid, 2 days in any of the following office locations: Epsom / London / Peterborough / Manchester / Leeds / Glasgow
Duration: 6 months +
Pay Rate: £65 p/h (inside IR35)

Our client specialise in all aspects of water engineering across sectors such as Aviation, Defence, Energy and Cities & Development.

They currently require a Senior Pipeline Engineer to join their business and support on a variety of pipeline design projects.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.
• Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.
• Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
• Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
• Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Chartered Civil Engineer.
• Experience in pipeline design delivery, including engagement of multidisciplinary design resources.
• Sound knowledge of hydraulics, pipe restraint and jointing, pipeline materials, bedding and UTX.
• Proficiency in designing within appropriate digital analysis packages, following local and national guidance. eg HADES, InfoWorks, EPANET.
