Panel Wirer / Electrical Assembler

We are looking for a talented person to join our team of experienced electrical professionals, assembling electrical power columns including media walls, ventilation and controlled lighting systems as part of a complete finished product.

Essential skills
  • Electrical assembly experience
  • Able to utilise handheld or equipment
  • High degree of attention to detail and a desire for high quality output
  • Following PPE and Health & Safety procedures at all times
  • The job is of a physical nature so a certain level of health is required
  • Flexibility to work overtime when required
  • To be able to read and understand production and wiring drawings
Key Responsibilities
  • Working to a schedule of work provided by the production supervisor
  • Working from engineering/technical drawings to assemble power columns including media walls, ventilation, and controlled lighting systems
  • Connect and wire the components ensuring proper routing, termination, and compliance with safety standards
  • Perform basic functional tests that the electrical assembly operates as intended, checking for continuity, voltage levels, and identifying and resolving simple issues, record results within testing software
  • Prepare components for manufacture including wiring looms and fabricated sub-assemblies
  • Assist in manufacture witin other areas of the business when required
  • Ensure all products are produced to a high-quality specification
  • Maintain a clean and safe personal working area
